We have played an important role in the development of the industry, from improved farming practices to advanced processing methods.
Company owns the biggest vineyard in Europe, 140 hectars, and a big fig orchard. Both crops are grown organicly.
Plant runs with most recent technology, producing famous aromatic Turkish Sultana Raisins, premium Smyrna Figs, as well as "Pastes" and "Diced Pieces" of these dried fruits. Fumigation (for non organics), grading, washing and packing are the major production stages. Inspections by in-plant raw, phisical and microbiology labs are done repeatedly at every step to comply with Company specs. We pack under "Lion", "Southern Beauty", "Baker Boy" and "Orchard Blossom" brands. All our products are "Kosher".
Turkey is where the growing of grapes and figs started, before written history. Raisins are '"quick energy" as the carbohydrates in this fruit are fructos, dextrose type, requiring no fermentation during digestion. Fig is the "perfect food" with very rich contents of calcium, potassium, magnesium, fiber and carbohydrates. Both are extremely healthy for children for strong bones and
teeth, and grown-ups, primarily to
regulate rithmic heart beat. Both have no fat, cholesterol,

Guide Pyramid recommends the complex
carbohydrates in raisins and dried figs, as basic health diets.

special storage. Ideal tempearature is 9 C (45 F).
