The firm was established in 1997 by three ex-partners with Coopers and Lybrand with experiences of more than 20 years in big five accounting and consulting firms. At the beginning of year 2001, El Shibini & co., merged with other two professional firms, Nasr A. Abbas & Co. Al-kadim &Co. to become the Egyptian international Consulting Group (EICG).
